The Cricut Mug Press is crafted for heat-pressing custom designs onto mugs. Our research highlighted a common issue: users often experienced burns, and many existing machines on the market required extensive manual adjustments, leading to inconsistent heat-press results. This inefficiency made the entire heat-press process less user-friendly.
To address these challenges, we dedicated a lot of time to explore various possibilities. Our goal was to design an intuitive method for users to naturally insert mugs into the machine. Additionally, we focused on creating a system that could evenly distribute heat and provide consistent pressure, eliminating the need for laborious manual adjustments.

Intuitive Design Language
The Mug Press design takes into account the user's natural behavior of placing the mug vertically, a thoughtful approach that helps prevent burns and accidents during operation.
One single touch
Close the lid, and the mug press automatically initiates the heating process with no need for manual adjustments. The machine adjusts the pressure and sets the time without any extra effort.
