Who I am

Hi, I am Connie Chen, a UX designer with a strong background in industrial design. With my industrial design background, I bring a unique perspective to user experience design. I understand the importance of human-centered design principles.

I believe that anything created both virtually and physically should be usable for everyone. As a UX designer, I am committed to conducting thorough user research and analysis to gain insights into user needs, motivations, and behaviors, to develop better products.

traveling

Traveling is the most thrilling adventure for me. I enjoy visiting different cultures and experiencing various lifestyles, including savoring local cuisine, of course. 😊 It's also a time when I can spend with my family, creating memories and excitement together.

cooking

I was born in Taiwan, and I always miss Taiwanese street food, even though there are some Taiwanese food restaurants in the Bay Area. However, they still lack the flavor of my memories.
I enjoy cooking and draw inspiration from my family. I strive to recreate the memorable dishes for them. It brings me satisfaction to hear compliments and see their joyful expressions as they enjoy the food, reliving the flavors of my childhood.

I love plants just by looking at their various colors and shapes, they can already make my day.

painting

I love watercolor painting. It is the best way to release stress and focus. I enjoy every step of the process, from finding an idea and drawing the draft to choosing the color theme and controlling the pigment flow in the water.
